Dana Chodzko was born in Long Beach California. She has been teaching for 20 years, and has taught sculpture at John F. Kennedy University, Stanford University, San Francisco School of Art, New Mexico State University, and the College of Santa Fe. She is currently Head of the Sculpture Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts.
